A two-day nationwide mass protest has been called by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) for February 27 and 28, 2024.
This was said by NLC President Joe Ajaero at an emergency meeting on Friday at Labour House in Abuja.
"Unfortunately, we are forced to take such drastic measures, but we have no other option due to the ongoing disregard for the welfare of citizens and Nigerian workers as well as the extreme hardship," Ajaero stated.
Ajaero stated that the decision to hold a protest was taken after the Federal Government was given a 14-day ultimatum about the problems facing the entire country.
